This is my father in 1959. He was 20 years old and in Scotland. He joined the military when he was 18 and traveled to many place. My mother gave me several photos to make copies of, including this one. I touched it up a bit- the original is the image on the bottom. I kept a lot of the wear on the photo I touched up because it adds so much character. I love my Dad and miss him terribly, but it's nice to find treasures like this to hold on to.
