Beautiful Bri

Bri, pronounced like Breye, before he left his earthbound presence, he was both beautiful and handsome. His spirit lives on, and this commission from one of his parents, marks another way to help comfort them from their loss, and another way to say to a beautiful spirit, as well, that "You are and have always been loved."

very well captured the beauty, great work Carliss

Artist Reply: Hello, and thank you so much! It's one of my very early pieces after getting back to art following a 20 year absence.

Another very nice portrait Carliss, plus such a touching story. His good looks are something to behold indeed.

Artist Reply: Really, and truly, he was so handsome. In fact, I did another of him that was better, but his aunt said this one was fine. I may just finish it for me, eventhough I didn't get to know him personally. Thanks, much for commenting, and being my guest!!!

The title is SO true. Beautiful! Bravo,Carliss. I love your portraits, and I love the black and white. My favorite!

Artist Reply: Thank you, Janet! I'm happy you like the black and white or graytone, as they call it sometimes, now. I don't know how to do much else, so I really appreciate your coming here to comment!!

WOW Carliss, this is amazing! I feel like I could reach out an touch this man. Good looking man too I might add. ;)

Artist Reply: Carol, thanks so much for commenting on this drawing! A member of his family asked that do it. It was really challenging. I still think I don't have it just right. I may do it again. and actually have started a new one, just for me so that I am satisfied with it too.
