Copyright 2006 Carl Huffman If you look very carefully at the mouth area you'll notice the eyes & smile of a woman. Yes, this whole piece started out from a face of a woman. I find I just need interesting pixels to begin a piece, i.e. interesting colors, shapes or patterns. Then there are so many tools in Adobe Photoshop to manipulate the beginning set of pixels that it almost doesn't even matter though what you've started with; you just need some pixels. What really matters is what you want to artistically express with that raw material.
