Crimes of Passion

Who can know the paths that are before any of us, given that we don't even control the emotions that rage out of control in our personal lives? What could we be convicted of, ultimately, if we aren't capable of reining in those primal messages that arrive in our skulls, as a result of an earlier, limbic neurology--and lack of insight?

How utterly intriguing your landscape of thought is...I understand. Excellent creation and contemplation bfore our eyes...I have thought of these very things...Ethics studies and just everyday thought will bring the reasoning mind to these colors and questions...What we would not be for grace and forgiveness and hope of a new day...who knows. I only pray that my soul is guarded from all wrong, that I can or could do and all evil in the world...wishing only peace for all. GREAT image, Michael. Very interesting perspective!

Artist Reply: Thanks so much, Christine. As you perceptively recognized, I like to create larger questions for people to ponder in paintings--hopefully beyond just being "pretty pictures"--and not so much as "illustrations" of ideas, but something that will somehow leave the viewer with more insight than he/she had before contemplating them. I'm really glad that some of these "messages" are being heard, seen, and understood. I really appreciate your comments!
