I was asked by one WELL KNOWN ,dear friend of mine :-)to post treasures from the past..:-),This is one ...that i truly LOVE,And repesent the time of youth...or...the TIME I was very young ..and still live at my parents home.This a is a still life composition,done on the working/drawing table,i used to have...and,was in my room...under the window...With that kettle,on the right side i used to give water to these plants seen on this window ,above the table.On the table,is my almost first Musical instument,that ,I used to play,when i was about 9-10 years old,Saxophone Sopranino.And...my first watercolour,by Reeves(England).One of my first watercolours...done for Fun...during my first year of college. Brilliantly created detailed artwork Nira. Your saxophone art prominently displayed fondly reminds me of my clarinet that I used to play in my high school band. :)

FANTASTIC! Love the different forms of artistic 'instruments' on the table :) the paints & brush and the clarinet.. Wonderfully rendered and very enjoyable work Nira! (big smiles) :o)

Artist Reply: Well ;-)...my darling,thanks SO MUCH...This is the Saxophone Sopranino...the smallest Sax,and also very rare sax...STILL WITH ME,By the way...almost don't open it though...its about 70,or more years.YES...The Clarinet was my main musical instrument...i studied 8 years to learn to play,the Clarinet...definitely considered the most difficult wind instrument.Glad you enjoy this,LESLIE...I made quite alot of works since..and my work really changed..YET...This has a special place in my heart,and in my home too....AND...PERHAPS...One day,i'll post the clariono :-)) TOO,I mean the...CLARINET..

Artist Reply: Hi there,dear Rusty :-)...i'm well thank u...and how are u ? :-))..I agree with you..there's something,marvelous in the old ones...I mean,all kinds of OLD THINGS :-)also furniture,for instance...or old jewel..And in ART...Usually if you work....your art developed...not always..:-)...but...alot of times...it does..And..I know today,i can't paint this way,but i enjoy it...and definitly can be inspired by it for new works...sometimes..i think its good to look back at things to take things from there to a new place of creation.Have a wonderful evening!
