Sunny flowers

This is a photo I took of some lovely bright flowers. May you have a bright day to spend with the ones you love, smile if alone and spend time to do something just for yourself, call a friend or loved one and tell them how much you appreciate or miss them. Time passes faster than one thinks, use it wisely!

Artist Reply: Thank you Laurie! I'm having a great week, and family is visiting from several states. I will be heading out on vacation myself, but will take my laptop and Wacom, and cameras . I should be able to post on the go.

My favorite part of the year...spring when gorgeous flowers start poking out.....and everything is green

Artist Reply: I do love spring, it's delicate beauty is so amazing and more appreciated after the winter. It's like a treasure hunt to spot each day a new jewel to oh and awe over!

Your series of floral photos are fantastic......

Artist Reply: Thanks Tazda! I'll be traveling in about 10 days, so will be hunting lots of flowers along the way. So, all those who spot myself and my sister snapping photos ofrom the road like idiots, I apologize in advance.LOL! I always feel so out of place, and don't wish to bother anyone, so stop and don't intrude. My sister, she will charm someone to get a photo, while I hide in the car embarrassed. My husband laughs at my, noones about, let me take a photo of their flowers, quick! Some photographer I make! LOL! At least, I've got zoom!

Your wonderful thoughts go perfectly with this gorgeous display Terry!!!!!!

Artist Reply: Thank you Deborah!! To give of oneself, is priceless. If I never become famous for my works, that's fine. I've made pricless friends and brough smiles to others. That's worth more than all the money in the world.

truer words were never spoken - wonderful, kind sentiments and great photo - thanks Terry!

Artist Reply: Thanks you Joseph!!! What one does today may mean more to someone else than we may ever know. That may effect so many others in the future, if they do as you do. When asked, "How can I ever repay you?" I always say, "Do someting for someone else. That is the best thanks I could ever be given."We should all do random and planned acts of kindness. Be it cooking a turkey for a holiday to take over to someone elderly that would refuse to come over to join you, to a kind word in a store to a frustrated young mother.

corry stuart 10 Jun 2006

really great and happy photo like your write up

Artist Reply: Thanks Corry! Friends and family keep us all going when we don't want to. For them, we take an extra step, make the extra touch to do, to be, to live for. If I lost them all in a mment, for them, I would have to go on and honor them, and make new friends, not give up. So, hope not to have to ever, but will, if I have to. When I pass, I want a celebration to oocur. This life is just the begining, a short lay over before the real trip begins.

OK - this is my absolute favourite and I love the words you've written - and may you have a very bright day too, you are so right time does pass too quick.

Artist Reply: Thanks Zoe! It feels like the other day that I was in the garden with my father tending the mums he liked. It feels like just a while that my husband and I met. It feels like just moments I held my daughter as a newborn. It felt like forever when I found one white hair! LOL!
