Open Your Eyes

This one's really mostly Acrylic. The eye that's still shut is a magazine cut out. It just aggrevates me when people don't see things properly, and when I saw the ad in the magazine, I decided I needed the eyes to open.

The power of this piece is very stiking making a bold statement graphically and symbolically stressing how important it is to open our eyes to understand ourselves and the reality of events unfolding around us. Otherwise, we would have no power to make changes. Very bold and effective statement!!
