Artist Reply: Thanks, Pat. As you may have noticed, I rarely use geometric forms in my work, preferring more organic shapes. But I felt it was effective in this case, sort of melting into the sky. It seems important to allow the atmospheric perspective, even in something mysterious involving edges and geometries. Very perceptive of you to catch that! Thanks again...

I find myself staring and getting lost deep in thought. ...if I pass thru that door way, where will it lead to, hmmm, something better, or eternal damnation...the darkenss above and the bright color inside, what will I do???
