I keep coming back to this one. It really does capture the Cape's ambiance. Even though we see only the slightest hint of ocean and sand, I can smell the salt air and hear the waves. Love the subdued sky and modest lighting. Great point of view. Nicely done.

All of these photos say so much about where you live. It is such a beautiful place with so much history. If you look, things are the same as they were a hundred years ago. The oldest things we have on this side of the country are the trees. Thank you for visiting my site!!
Artist Reply: Thanks so much Mary! I love it here at the Cape. I don't unfortunately live here, only visit but when I do it's for a good amount of time for rest and relaxation...with camera in hanf ofcourse! No internet, phones, etc. Just the ocean, my paints/pencils, camera, and backpack. I do indeed love the history and story this fence tells which is why it stood out to me. Glad you were able to see that as well!!
