Watertaxis at work along the Dubai Creek, ferried passengers between the five parts of the town for several generations. Once rowed by hands, most are now motorized and carry many passenger. The restored houses and towers are now converted into tourist souvenirs shop and restaurants.

Looks like a very busy area Francis.. really enjoy seeing the photo with the painting.. neat stuff! Your painting is so very detailed.. really has the ability to take one there (and the 'muddiness' colour of the waters puts me in mind of the fast flowing rivers around here in Manitoba).
