Dimensional Shift

At the intersection of reality and fantasy, surrealism and physics, one rainy night this quiet street corner presented an omen of its worldview suddenly being altered forever by the insanity that followed, a mere two years later, a mere block away. ©1999, Michael Cook

So often I want to capture the gleam of the rainy roads after a storm. Unfortunately, the traffic prohibits that most of the time. You've done a great job capturing that feeling here. I love the symbolism of the piece. Great city scape.

Nice pastel Michael.. I particularly like the shimmery wet look you've achieved on the road and pavement.. Excellent! :-)
