© 2006 Armando Salas. ---- 1980-1985. I did a huge and hard training in all imaginable way of art (except sculpture; no choice for me:-))) I only drew a few comic pages like these. Sci-fi , a beloved theme for me. Here. you can see two pages from two different stories (unfinished, of course). Only as a training, to explore my skills, because the work was so hard...! ---Pen, indian ink and nylon brushes.

Armando,después de ver las tres viñetas Galacticas de arriba.Con el viejo y sofisticado tripulante.Ahora veo las cuatro de abajo Observo las astronaves,sus interiores y personajes El agujero negro... Es impresionante, el gran dibujo que posees, la composición. En verdad eres aparte de un buen pintor ,un magnífico muralista.Te felicito tambien mi Gloria mujer y dos nietos.les ha gustado mucho. Hey I dig this, it reminds me of the evil lord xenu story circulating around about the church of Scientology, you know that crazy Tom Cruise cult?!. Of course I am mad for science fiction and the use of black and white together. Its like old school pulp from the days of Ray Bradbury..This is some bitchin' artwork!

Other typse of artists may face challenges only a single time within an image but the comic artist must face those challenges until the work is through! Bravo!
