Cactus bloom 2 From Globe, AZ

I stopped to take photos of the cacti in bloom. These blooms were so pretty, almost like a waxy rose. They had a mild, but lovely scent.

Great foto from Az. love the foto

Artist Reply: Thanks Tazda! I went out to find blooms with my husband. These have a natural soft and waxy look to them. No photo editing needed to them. The blooms on these cacti are about fist sized on some of them.

Super photo! Beautiful

Artist Reply: Thanks so much Vera! I love the cactus blooms that I get to see. Some of them are large, and some small. These are almost fist size on some of the cacti. I am waiting for my cacti to begin to bloom to show some varieties of blossoms.

Terry, another of your beautiful photographs and it a straight shot from the lens and beautiful as can be. miguel

Artist Reply: Thanks Michael! I've a few weeks before my own variety of cacti bloom. I have to fight the birds and paririe dogs for the pickly pear fruits. They make a nice candy.

wonderful capture!

Artist Reply: Thank you Mark! There are so many cacti blossoms through the year that bloom out here. Some are alien looking , but most are really beautiful.

A star!!!!

Artist Reply: Thank you Emily! People always wonder why live in a desert? There is so much beauty here. The sunrise and set sets are amzing. The stars at night I can sit out and watch, as well as shooting stars. I listen to the coyotes and see them. I've a pair of roadrunners that steal dry dog food. I can take the heat more than the cold. Most of the year you can do things outside or at least the night. It makes you appreciate every blossom you find.
