Osprey

Here is an Osprey that has taken up residence at a nearby Great Blue Heron rookery. About a minute or so after this photo was taken it was observed attacking a GBH.

nice shot Terry, I just found one that hangs out at the harbor where I go walking and it allows you to get quite close to it while it sits here watching for fish..They are great fishermen and a blast to watch dive into the water head first..
