A Design for Venus Afroditi

This is a textile design ,i made in 1987,for Venus Afroditi,the goddess of LOVE & BEAUTY...that was born from surf of sea waves...inspired by the legend of her..and It is a small part of a small project ,that i made for history of ART,as a student.Have a splendid day,ALL !!! Love the swirling pattern of the oceans waves as it tosses the fabulous rose blossums gently towards the shore.. FABulous design Nira :o)

Perhaps telepathy isn't science fiction. When I saw this work, something was "familiar" to me. Just yesterday in the evening, I did a work like this in a way: shapes, colors... Those blue and white shapes... the rose... And yes, perhaps Venus is in my work too. I'm amazed because this work is from 1987 and I never saw it until now. What a coincidence! Of course, your work is better than mine :-))) This one is superb in beauty, colors, composition, and I'm not totally satisfied with the work I did. Congrats, dear Nira.
