Burg Reuland, Belgium (2006)

This is one of a three part series about Belgian villages. The local Belgian-American Club wanted a painting to auction off. This particular village is in the southeastern corner of Belgium, near the country of Luxembourg. The colors are bit fantastic. The real villages look like they have been hewn out of the hillsides. Strict zoning rules insure the homogeneity of the landscapes.

Fantastic, rhythmic work. All those triangles dance my eyes around the canvas. I always love your colors, David.
