'Marlin the Starling'

Despised by many farmers but still a great looking , fun bird to watch. This was a difficult picture , I got three shots but with the bright white background & dark bird the exposure was tricky. In the end I has to compromise the background a little!This was the best of the three!

A very good shot of this fellow. The starlings we have in the U.S. are not this beautiful. Thank you for such a great shot.

It's a great shot! We have starlings and they are messy and steal food from the other birds, etc. but I love watching them.

This is a handsome starling! I've always seen the black, loud cawing ones that drive you nuts. I went to college one year where there were so many, it hurt your ears and the droppings became a health issue. They had to fire cannons off to scare them off in the end.
