Mandelas are mystical works. This has that mystical quality. It is symmetrical, but not symmetrical. The colors and shapes are regular and repetitive. That in itself is healing for the troubled mind.
Such variety and scale of effect...I love the graduated illusion in the colour. It's reminiscent of something druidic, celebrating the earth's fertility...a major work by anyone's standards.
You amaze me ...look at all the comments...Well deserved! such soul and energy and love in this...packed with power!! Just looking at it heals the pain and draws peace and life into the heart... You have such incredibly intricate work...Thank you for taking the time to comment on my work. It is such a pleasure knowing you...I love the colors in this and the woven braided feel...Excellent work...May I send much love to you and hopes for your comfort and happiness...Sincerely CB
hm. at first glance, it reminds me a bit of a cell. but upon further inspection, i am again astounded and impressed by your work with details and limited color scheme. i especially like how it isnt "perfect"; one can tell that you didnt use a circle template and i think it brings more personality and style to this. very nice job, as always!
intricately woven -- it's beautiful and its beauty included the healing mandala you intend then the creation of it must have made you well indeed! perhaps it will do the same for all who view it.... GREAT pen and ink, i bet the coloring was fun to do!~
I admire very much your great and fantastic patience in to create your marvelous art Deborah!!!! Allways very detailed, with great harmony, vibrancy and beauty!!!! Simply stunning my dear Deborah.

Extraordinary and elegant design. Your work lends itself to textiles. This would be a very cool print as a pattern on a silk shirt.Mary Ashton 04 Sep 2006
