Pink Oreanders

This is a pink Oreader bush, one of many I have on my property. They come in about a half dozen colors that I know of. I've seen them as tall as a one story home, and pruned to grow like a tree. (I 'm not sure if a tree or bush). They bloom well in the desert. Although very pretty, they are totally poisionous, from roots to seeds. It's the one plant you do not want to chew on the leave or use a stick to roast a marshmellow over a fire. This bush has grown in 3 years from just a foot high to 6 feet tall.

gorgeous, Terry!

Artist Reply: Thank you Jimmie! I have three colors of these in my yard, and they are very pretty. One thing the jackrabbits won't touch due to how much the plant is poisionous.

What a delicious shot of this closeup of Oleanders. Just beautiful. You are such a fine photograher. Miguel.

Artist Reply: Thank you Miguel! THis years blooms are much larger than usual years. We added a drip sysem to give them regular watering. The blooms are so heavy, they war weighing down the branches.
