9"x12" acrylic on canvas. This is dedicated to my dear cousin, Norman Hill, who is dying from a rare form of thyroid cancer. ... Norman, there will be peace on the other side! Love you, cuz!
A painting with feeling, art you made for someone who died or is dying always has an emotional value...at lleast in my experience. You should treasure it. Gotta say I'm missing the shadow from the trees in the for ground. Those two bare trees make a nice contrast with the two bright green bloomig trees next to it.
This is a beautiful hillside, a good place to meditate or contimplate one life. "...to absent from this flesh is to be present with the Lord.." A wonderful "other side" it is!!!!
