Hibiscus for Peace is a painting I made for a lady friend who woke me up from an uncanny slumber that makes me slightly ashamed. We are artist to not only bring joy to the eyes and hearts of others but to have an audience to speak to. To those who look at my work, comment if you wish, but God made the subject I paint and photograph, so thank your God and while your thanking him, pray for peace for a moment. I will take this as a monumental compliment to me. I am praying now as I write this to protect those who are in harms way and to stop this senseless slaughter.
