This, to my eye, carries the pathos of the Great Plains. Very nice! This is somewhat minimalist, but with a lot of highly charged content and emotion as well.

Looks like a lonely beach. Great blend of colors, creating a soft, but detailed texture. Simplistic, but tells a story.
