this is an observational drawing of my husband eric's profile done on bluish artagain paper. i drew him watching tv for a couple hours until he nodded off, then i had to finish it by memory. i tried to tell him to not furrow his brow so i could draw his forehead easier, but that's his concentrating expression and he couldn't stop it if he was watching tv. i think i made him look kinda old (he's 22) but maybe he looks old for his age. i used HB, 2B, and 2H pencils and a white charcoal pencil, plus random erasers. this drawing was done for my application portfolio for the college i'm planning on going to. the drawing itself is kinda small, about 5" by 6.5" but it'll have to do. i'd love to hear what you think, feedback is encouraged. thanks for looking!
