I joined AW,1.5 years ago.Actually at first i was just looking to make links to my web - site.I did not REALLY understood what is AW.At first i was not a paying member...and...i did not understand,all who post each day images.I supported several artists that i liked.My works usually was not at TOP-TEN club,and it seems to me ,NON- IMPORTANT,at all,since i understood then...that you give a 10,you'll get a 10.You give 6,you'll get a 6...even,if your art is 100,and you worked 2 month to make it,you can get a 5,by someone who work 1 hour on a work worth none...later,after few months at the site,i understood...it is defintely a SUPPORTIVE SITE,for ALL artists,in all levels...AND...A friendly site usually.A place where you can view ART,in ALL levels,and decide,who are the people you will support,for their ART,Or personality...or people who would support your ART.Several times...from all kinds of reasons...TIME,also...I concidered my stay here.The reason i'm here today,is to view ART...IN all shapes...and ALL levels...to give SUPPORT,and also to get support.To give TRUE support in the way i understand...in my Spontanious way to those,i enjoy their ART...To those who bring a SMILE,to me...to those who also support my ART.I see AW,like artists state/nation.And the beauty of AW,to me,that so many people who like to create meet,and can talk FREELY About their feelings to ART..AND...I mean ART,in all shapes...media...and levels.I think AW,is important for every and each artist,because we usually worked on our ART,alone...and..AW,is definitely a STAGE to show our ART...Our developments...our way.SO...Someone once told me :" Stay true to yourself "...and actually that is what i believe in.I'm SORRY,if in the last 2.5 days,you could not comment my ART...and i thank ALL those who took the time to write me such WONDERFUL SUPPORTIVE E.mails...and demand to comment my art.-And you were right...So....enjoy the day and my ART :-))...those images,that i posted 2 days ago and you could not comment...I will repost soon...Copyrights (c)Nira Dabush

Artist Reply: Hi there ,Pepita..Yes..i remember we had here and there..e.mails i mean,also about our stay here.About this fabric,you see on this table...It belongs to my partents,my mom bought it recently.She usually buys fabrics ,that looks like my designs.And i design a lot,what she might like to buy :-)...This fabric could have absolutely be my design...she bought it inspired by one Oil painting i made for her especcially,and in the painting that was done several years before this fabric...there is table cloth,very similar to this fabric.Usually after a textile design is sold...i don't see the final fabric,because it usually sold out of Israel,through agents...and this is what i miss mostly.Thanks SO MUCH ,Pepita.

Nira, I am so glad to be able to tell you how I perceive your work again. Your taking your work off the comment agenda sparked a long converstation between my sister and myself. She also an artist, believes that the comments of others has no bearing on the art and that when she is done with a piece, it is out of her life. And that compliments or criticism is neither here nor there in the making of the art. I, on the other hand am spurred on by the sincere support that others give to your work and since i know none of AW personally, there seems to be no hidden agenda about the comments. I love to look at the other work and comment as if a friend showed me a piece they had pride in. I think what you wrote is as beautiful as your work and I am glad to be able to communicate with you again on your work. I am sincere in my congratulatory comments and I would never compliment a piece of work that wasn't worthy. I would stay silent. Your work Nira is wonderful and I have been told that it is our duty as artsists and musicians to share the work. Somehow I believe it clears the visual and aural pollution that we are inundated with. The trite illustrations in commercial work and the selling of pure sensuality takes the purity out of the work. Now I am not a purist about the subject matter. But art is art and the rest is tittilation. So those are my feelings and the biggest one is that I dont have to worry about why you limited comments. I know now and I can congratulate you on your great work. miguel
