Low Tide

An experiment. Still a figurative subject, but tried to approach it in a more abstract way... Comments and constructive criticism are welcome. Acrylics on canvas panel. palette knife+brush. 30*40 cm

Gorgeous monochromatic piece! The sea and the tree are awesome. And yes - very zen.

I share Steph's opinion about the Zen looking of this painting... It's a clean, modern and very nice composition.

But it is wonderful Cristina, what were you so worried about? It is almost Zen like. My only critique is about how the green is very central, I would of lost a little off the base of the picture, just to were the branches reflection finishes, then it would be perfect in my eyes :D
