This is a watercolor marker and pastel pencil drawing done of Clint Eastwood based on a black and white photograph featured in a book about him. Artwork by Mark Jorgenson
What's a watercolor marker? You get great results with it. Another good one.
Artist Reply: Thank you, Tom Watercolor markers are nothing more than broadline and thin line kids markers like think crayola but also Tombow brush tip markers and fibracolor markers. Crayola makes a set of flesh tone markers called Multicultural markers. They also have a sandy tan marker that I use for base flesh. See my work in progress for Sharon stone and you will see I use the marker as an underpainting for the finished peice which I then finshed with pastel pencils. I like the control and detail I can achieve. I know of no other person who works like I do with markers but after doing over 300 peices with it I am confident it is a viable way to do art. Regards, mark
