Fir Pocket

An odd viewpoint, but I liked the way the sun was lighting the grasses and the fir. Oil on canvas

I've been watching your vioeds every day learning something new every day. I have been playing for some time and always learning. It's good that you don't rush through your lessons. Great. Thanks. Eric. From Nova Scotia

Really nice work!

This is a nice, intimate work. The little pine tree is the focal point as it clings to the cliff. The oblique lighting is charming.

Absolutelt beautiful as usualm Betty. You skill at capturing light in the landscape never fails to impress me. I can not only imagine how stunning this painting must look in real life but I can also imgine being there and trying to capture the same view on film. Glad to see something new from you.

The lighting is beautiful and it's a perfect capture. The thumbail is so small but there appears to be a lot of detail in the grass and trees. I like how the sun shines thru and onto the grass in the left corner. This is lovely.
