Spring melt down

A few days ago (around Apr.6, 2006) I went to Assiniboine River and took a couple shots of the breaking up of the river ice. Nice to see that spring has arrived! photo taken with HP Digital 945 camera. framing done in PhotoFiltre. Thank you for viewing. Hope you enjoy your day. :o)

Fascinating shot. The melting ice moving down river under a cloudless blue sky. All we need now are the penguins!!!!! Brilliant !
