I sold the original (year 2000) "Death" right before a show even opened. A client of mine who collects original art, was sad to hear I still didn't retain the original. So sad in fact; that he commissioned me to do a remake. So here she is, "Death 2003" lol. Three years later, and it shows how much my work has grown. I invite everyone,(before I delete her) to view the original "Death" and compare her to this new and inproved version. I said "other" for media, because I used quite a bit of acrylic in her hair to get those nice little wispy pieces.(which took forever!) Most of her face, skin, clothing(what little of there is) and cloak, is colored pencil.......prismacolor, since I get alot of emails on what brand I use. Enjoy....

I looked at both of your Death pieces and as hard as it is to say which one i prefer, i'm going with this one. I think it's the pose that got me and the intensity of her features. I love the background colour that you chose as well and the fact that my fave colours are pink and purple also add to my biasness.
