This Design/Art was done in 2001,While Yarin was a baby 1 year old,with me at home...and i was thinking what next for me to do in my life.I felt i need a change in my artistic endeavorers.I always wanted to REALLY paint,but mostly work on painted designs ,usually for printed fabrics...it became "TOO EASY" to design,and i was looking for challenges...to develop myself..and maybe do kind of work,that i knew i could,but just did not gave it a try ...At the same time,i felt i can't leave textile design ,which is part of me,which is ME...So...this can be a design for Pareo/Beachwear...but it can also be a picture in your interior design.Mixed Media,Watercolour and gouache .70 cm x 100 cm =28" x40" Copyrights ( c)Nira Dabush

Well simply beautiful Nira--I spent 20 years painting fabrics and making up garments, mainly cottons and cheesecloths,rock salt and laying them out in the hot sun. I used these plants frequently. lovely design and couour you uses --Fabulous fun --but I still prefer canvas!We have Montstrera's growing everywhere in our yard also hibiscus--well lots of gum trees!!julie Marks 28 Jul 2007
Fabulous colors, a reflection of your extraordinary talent. Charlie makes wonderful functiional items with what we refer to as fabric arat. Your designs would look so great on a bathing suit or other tropical apparol. The colors are so vivid and vital and I love that textile art can be used for apparal of for art to hang on the wall. I manipulate Charlies fabric art and I manipulate his beautiful designs to create artwork that can be used to hang on the walls as you suggested in your narrative.
