Cat's Eye IV

I have completed a tutorial for this technique (using "Cat's Eye II"), so if you are interested in seeing it, step by step from start to finish, click here!

This is my seventh ATC/ACEO! (I'm officially going to stop counting now!)

"Cat's Eye IV" is an original work (2.5" x 3.5") in Scratchboard, with Acrylic Paint. The technique involves scratching with an X-acto knife, and painting, numerous layers of each. Very fun, but sometimes time consuming!

This card is SOLD - view other cards for sale at ArtCardsWanted.com - click to view Christina's store!

Thanks to everyone who views or comments on this image - I'm having a lot of fun with this ATC/ACEO thing - I strongly recommend it for other artists, if you haven't already tried it! :)

I just keep sitting here staring at this eye....all the little fine details. It just looks so real and every little hair is placed perfectly. If I hadn't watched your tutorial and saw the progression, I would have mistaken this for a photograph.
