Dragon

This is my first dragon, modeled by my iguana "Emerald". This is a wood burning done on Ponderosa Pine. The background was etched out with a dremel and color added with watercolors. All that needs to be done to it now is seal it. The pictures do not do this justice. The picture was etched out to look like it is in a frame. I hope you enjoy. Completely original and one of a kind.

A lovely piece of pyrography! I've never coloured mine, I must have a go. :) Gwen.

Artist Reply: Thanks again, Gwen!!! :) I think I saw something about coloring in a book and decided to do it my way. The sky behind the dragon is also etched out to make it look more 3D. It took a lot of work, but it was worth it! :)

Hey, great "first dragon", Valarie!! I luv it! Dragons are one of my favorites, but I've been "dragon" my feet so far on creating them! LOL! Now you've inspired me to try!! Take care!!! ;-)

Artist Reply: Well, thank you Steve for such a wonderful compliment. Now "dragon" yourself over to your drawing table and start creating!! ;)
