Adam: Burden of Man

Painting of the first man, visual from genesis that states, " fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every creature that moves on the ground.” Adam has his right hand placed on his forehead to represent the huge responsibility of having to commit such a task. A hand in the sky overlaying structure, the right angle, a concept alien to Earth until humans dug there feet deep within its crust.

This piece is really awsome. I like the texture and composition and lighting. I've never tried oils, I think I will real soon
