I drew this for my hubby for a birthday gift. This is my father-in-law,that went to meet his heavenly father three years ago. He was one of the nicest men I ever met. He is missed very much by his loved one.
What a wonderful face, he looks as if he was the life and soul of any party. I just wrote that out and then read your description Penny, I was saddened to read that he died, I am sorry.
I think that you can feel his spirit in this work. Kind and selflessly serving others. Seems as if your learning the magic of the pencil now! Outstanding work!
Your God given Talent is increasing with each new art work Penny! Beautiful tribute and portrait for honoring your Father-in-law.I'm sure it will be a Great treasure for your Husband! :)
You're best so far. This is a great way to honor a proud man. You've come along way and those wrinkles in the smile and forehead really does the trick. also those glasses with the light bouncing off at just the right angle. Feel proud Pen.
you captured his personality yes this was a beatifull man his smile is so much like your husbands never knew you husband looked so much like his father i know he injoyed it
Wonderful tribute, Penny, to a man you must have loved dearly. It shows always in your work how much emotion and care you have for people. That is the sign of a true artist!
