The first Bond novel done by Ian Fleming. Each item represents an important element in the book. The pistol is Bond's gun, the stiletto and the blood comes into play near the end of the book and cards well.. Bond likes to gamble. Much to my chagrin the gun came out a little to ragged. The cards were particularly tough. I spent ALOT of time looking for the right deck then I found these "anti-smoking Death cards." I made some modifications and add the the 007. The green I felt would represent the hunter green fabric found on many tables used in gambling establishments.
