STONE VASE in QUARTZITE with EMERALDS

I produce a variety of different colors and sizes of my vases so if you like the look of my work but this one doesn't quite suit, please take a look at my other listings or contact me directly. This particular vase is in a very reflective green quartzite. I added a seam of crude but genuine emeralds. It stands 12ins tall at it's highest point and weighs 14lbs My vases are not glass or ceramic. They are constructed from natural stone, bonded with fortified masonry. Each vase has one especially decorative face showing exposed aggregates or semi precious minerals and gems. The other three sides are solid rock. I saw, split and break the stone to achieve the desired shape of the vase, leaving attractive, natural looking broken edges. Every vase has my initials etched into the stone. Each has a glass core to ensure that it is completely watertight and will not seep any moisture. Cork pads are added to the base to protect furniture. As well as being a delight to the eye these vases fulfill their function perfectly. Natural stone is a superb compliment to foliage and flowers and it's weight provides great support for the largest of displays. The vases are fully waterproof and may be sprayed or immersed in water for cleaning purposes, I have been selling vases similar to these for ten years mostly from my studio and at my local market on Saltspring Island (Canada's west coast). I'm very confident that if you like the look of my work on your computer screen you will like it even more in your home which is why I comfortably offer a no quibble return policy. These vases make great gifts, it's so nice to give something you are sure they won't have and most likely haven't even seen. Who for?.... Well anyone with a penchant for the unusual.... People who love natural materials in their home.... Rockhounds ofcourse and don't forget the Flower Lover in the family! The price of this vase is $275.00 which includes shipping to North American destinations. Please contact me to make the purchase or to request a shipping price to other areas.
