The colors are great. There is such a feeling of seeing, but not being able to see. This is fantastic, Linda!

Artist Reply: Thank you so much. We were staying in a convent in Montone Italy and it was on the top of a mountain and when we looked down it was like we were in the clouds. I loved it there.

atleast i couldn't do that...could u plz tell me how did u achieve this effect.

Artist Reply: I normally use watercolor, but this was a class in Italy, and we had to use oil, so I used turpentine to water it down at times. The top background was a light blue wash, the bottom a light green wash, then I used a white, mixed with Turpentine wash to go in and make the clouds and fog letting it mix in with the still wet blue on top and green on bottom, and lastly finished the dark green oil, only using no turpentine, so it was thicker for the details of the trees etc. I had already drawn this picture so I knew where to put the dark and light.
