GOLDEN FLOWER

"I affirmed that the society, by means of the organization of the machinery, will supply what is useful; what is beautiful it will be created by the individual. This not only it is necessary as it is the only a little possible of we obtain an or other. An individual that has to produce goods destined to the strange use and the satisfaction of needs and strange expectations, he doesn't work with interest and, consequently, it cannot put in its work that has of better. On the other hand, whenever a society, or a powerful segment of the society, or a government of any species, tries to impose the artist that he should do, the Art disappears completely, it is stereotyped, or she degenerates in an inferior and worthless form of craft. - A work of art is the singular result of a singular temper, its beauty proceed of being the author that is, and nothing has to do with the other people to want what want. With effect, in the moment in that an artist discovers what these people want and she tries to assist the demand, he stops being an artist and she becomes an monotonous artisan or entertaining, a honest or immodest dealer. It loses the right of artist to be considered. The Art is the most intense manifestation of individualism that the world knows. I am inclined to say that is the only its true manifestation that he knows. In certain conditions, it can seem that the crime has created the individualism. For the execution of the crime it is necessary, however, to go besides raised her own and to interfere in the strange. It Belongs to the sphere of the action. On the other hand, alone, without consulting nobody and free from any interference, the artist can give form to something of beautiful; and if she doesn't only make it for its own satisfaction, he is not any a way artist.- Executes to observe that is the fact of being the Art that intense form of individualism that takes the public to try to exercise on her such an immoral as ridiculous, and so degrading as worthless authority. The blame doesn't belong truly to the public. This never received, in time some, a good formation. It is constantly asking to the Art that is popular, that pleases its taste lack, that flatters its absurd vanity, that tells it what they already told it, that shows it what it should already be fed up with seeing, that entertains him when he/she/it to be weighed after having eaten in demasia, and that distracts it the thoughts when it be tired of its own stupidity. The Art should never aspire to the popularity, but the public should aspire becoming artistic." Extracted of the man's Soul under the socialism (Of Profundis and Other Writings), Oscar Wilde. ----------- Designed and painted in Adobe Imageready
