awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww this is adorable ... the title although is a bit scary but i like the sombre mood .. i agree with evrybody else here .. this is a really nice work of art .. the feelings just pour out for the poor woman sitting there waiting for her loved one to come by and take her hand perhaps ask her to dance or something ... i'll try to write a story about her

A good title always helps to brring the story of a painting alive (if it fits the image off course) when you look at it. That's what I like with your paintings, some really trigger your thoughts to see what you mean without making it to obvious. Of course next to her would always have been her deceased loved one, those two plants on both sides also won;t be there for nothing of course, maybe it would be better if the one on the left would have been death. On the background it looks like there are figures, maybe there's the funeral. And the poor woman just sits there wishing her loved one would be next to her instead of that bloody plant. Hmm, the pink dress would not really be suitable for a funeral though, but who cares. It's cool how it stands out in a dark sad painting. Haha, the longer I look the more I see.

What a creepy image, but such a great image! You've created such a mood here, lonely as well as an eerie background! :-)

I love this and it so happens the face looks so much like my dead Mother Inlaw
