I made a picture about two weeks before Christmas of a man frozen in ice, and the ice had been cracked with his blood. It was an NPC for a roleplaying game that I ran. So, I decided to draw him awake. His name is The Crystal Assassin. His last mission was to destroy all the shapeshifters and supernatural creatures in the world.

You should use a better method for color than just filling everything with a gradient. There is no universal trick that works for whatever you're trying to color. When coloring digitally, it's important to have shading so that your work actually gets attention.
