This photo, in the words of my mentor, is "my gift". We were in the middle of our once-in-a-year snow...it wasn't enough to build a snowman, but it was enough to fill the treads on my tires so that I got stuck driving down the beach. While I was waiting for someone to help pull me out, the clouds moved into this amazing formation. The combination of the steam rising off of the ocean (because the air was so much colder) and the sand blowing hard into the waves made very interesting textures and shapes.
