Sailing on Ulswater (Lake District)

A lone boat provides a dash of bright colour on grey-green water. This was painted in acrylics on stretched canvas. It is not framed. The sides of the canvas have been painted, so it does not necessarily need framing. This painting has been sold. Please note: Depending on the setting of your monitor, the colours may appear slightly different from those of the original painting. Also you must appreciate that it is impossible to convey all the subtleties of texture, tone and hue of the original work in a digital photograph.

Wonderful soft misty landscape, John, so typical of the Lakes. And just the right amount of light on the water! Well done!
