One of my favorite flowers, I have painted the sunflower many times. This is one I particulrly like. Please note: Depending on the setting of your monitor, the colours may appear slightly different from those of the original painting. Also you must appreciate that it is impossible to convey all the subtleties of texture, tone and hue of the original work in a digital photograph. Sunflower, an amazing display of pride in the floral world. Bright with the color of sunlight, centered in a dark orb. Commanding attention. Bees seem to know that the essense of enjoyment center around this gigantic flower. A very beautiful watercolor.thea walstra 09 Jan 2006
