. : hello : .

What a surprise! She wasn't expecting to see us, so she peeks through her fingers. Hello! This was an excercise with watercolours. This was my first presentable piece, believe me the others were so bad i had to throw them out. If you can see, I added a little bit of a light blue airbrush over her to give a hint of water. Its hard to notice, but I can see it! Thank goes out to my friend for reminding me that practice makes perfect! The piece was inspired by her mermaid, and the mermaids of Amy Brown. //tech// Windsor and Newton Canson watercolours Copic and Prismacolour markers Copic airbrush system Copic opaque white

Great job. I wonder if watercolour might be your niche if you want to experiment past the felt tip. How did you enjoy doing the background? I love using this style of mixing wet in wet for a random effect with surprising textures from the blend. Hope you keep it up.
