The Sleepy Trees of Saltonstall

Why? Because I could! There's this creepy little back road out in west Branford that we drove down late one night. Honestly, I expected to come upon some nighmarish figment of my imagination, crawling into road ahead of us, with secretive fangs and eyes like some horrible white screaming vacuum. I was really struck by the unending darkness, and how the trees, escaping the headlights, were nothing but pure black, without shadow, without texture. Just simply black against the night sky.

Another one I dig. Jennie, quit being self conscious! Art is an expression. Its your opinion of how you view something and want to represent it. That is the joy of art! Everyone's opinion of course will be different. If someone doesn't like it, so what? You do, right? We do too. If it makes you feel good doing it, then that is all that counts! I'm jealous that you are doing it because I'm so out of the loop of doing fine art its not funny! I was never that great at it anyway! Even though that IS how I got started. Keep it up girl! Tim
