Very early in the 1st chronicle, Kathra assists Nari, Dema, and Jere in a vital reconnaissance mission which goes terribly wrong and they discover a traitor among the Dari. Jere and Dema are driven off by Seekers and the only way Kathra escapes in the timely arrival of the Crimson Nova, who are saving her only to deny Saal'Ku her vengeance on the young renjiri woman. Anyhoo, Kathra on the OMF, stranded away from her ship, with Jere and Dema trying to fight off the DXE fighters long enough for her to get away.
