mad hatter

I've long wanted to do this portrait of my friend Bob as Mad Hatter. Synchronistically, he happened to be wearing the skull shirt the day I photographed him, which is the one I had in mind. Like many of us, to the world Bob shows the smiley face, but lurking within are all the dark emotions he wants to keep to out of sight. The duality of being, the ultimate madness.
