The Great Plön Lake is a lake in Northern Germany, not far away from Hamburg. It´s surrounded by a beautiful landscape and it´s a good place to stay there for holidays. I did so last year and I saw wonderful sunsets. They influenced me to this painting. It´s part 3 of my sunset-paintings. Now this series consists of 8 paintings and only 2 of them are still here. Tis painting is made on a cardboard with acrylics. It is framed, with a passepartout and under glass. The original is 20 cm x 20 cm great, with frame 30 cm x 40 cm.
