When I married a turkish man I decided to see his whole country. On one of our trips we came to Van county in the north east of Turkey. The landscape there is beautiful. On this painting you see a church on Akdamar-Island in Lake Van. Today this church is a kind of museum and really worth to be visited. That painting is a watercolor painting and about 17,5 cm x 24 cm great. It is framed with a passepartout and under glass. The frame is about 30 cm x 40 cm great.
