Gimpel im Herbst (bullfinches in autumn)

On every dark and grey autumn day I´m happy about a little colour in my garden. Some bullfinches brought this colour and they inspired me to that painting. It is full of colour and full of life although the background is grey. Just the way I love the late autum. This painting is made by acrylics on wood. It´s about 33 cm x 19 cm great and although it is wood it is not very heavy.
